“Dave Browne here with db Home Improvements. We’ve been replacing the fascia on this house by bits and pieces. The new fascia paints up fine, but the old fascia keeps peeling. So, what we’re doing is an aluminum wrap that has a PVC coating on it. This effectively takes the wood out of the weather, out of the rain, and out of the sun, providing a permanent, lasting effect. As you can see, it tucks up underneath the drip board, so there’s no chance of water getting behind it. It’s ideal behind gutters also because nothing ever gets onto the wood from water coming down off of the roof.

This is a fantastic product that we used extensively up north. It’s an aluminum coil with a PVC wood-grain coating that goes up. It’s easy to clean and it takes the wood out of the elements. No more painting is required, and it’s just great. To demonstrate the cleanability of this product, we went and spread blueberries all over it earlier and are now wiping it with a dry paper towel. With the PVC coating, that’s all there is to it. It lasts, it stays clean, and it protects your home’s bones forever.”
